Re: The treasure of the cat kind
"I thought that there might have been more pieces to that puzzle, but nothing suggests that they are. Main chamber is opened by the key linked to DNA imprint - basically same stuff as the tech support stations for the cat cult members, but with a little bit of an eldritch-ask twist, - but outside of it are a bunch of super weird stuff instead of an unassuming room. I guess you just need to... Deal with it? Sounds weird if you ask me, but... A lot of things from that time period are plain weird."
Planet looked... Not particularly unusual.
There were some cities, but they were on the opposite side of the planet. Pirates were likely noticed, but nobody asked them to identify themselves, so the ship didn't initiate it either. There could be something hidden motives, but it also could be that colonists just didn't particularly care about something going on in the jungles.
Jungles from the orbit looked fairly normal. More like jungles of Earth than like every possible biom on the Greenhouse. But looks could be deceiving.
The small group of adventures landed on the planet on two starfighters. Well... Tried, at least. The surface was sure stable according to all the measurements, but on contact, Amir had to do full forward (doing numbers on both the engine and everyone inside, as the mashine wasn't particularly designed for this sort of manoeuvres) to avoid falling into the pit beneath the ground. It was not gonna be tame...
